David Beckham for H&M

I find this ad such a tease. How can you squeeze his hotness in 30 seconds?

Found this video from David Beckham's yt! page and I can't get enough. I probably watched it three times in a row as soon as he posted it.

"H&M is proud to feature our new commercial for David Beckham Bodywear in Super Bowl XLVI. In the spot he is sporting various pieces from the new collection including the briefs (USD 12.95) and trunks (USD 14.95). The ad will air during the 2nd quarter of the Super Bowl. Hope you enjoy it! Check hm.com for local pricing." - description from his YouTube page.

I WANT MORE!

President Obama sings some Al Green

Apollo Theatre, New York, January 19, 2012 - Obama got some swagger while doing his speech with the help of Al Green and I'm pretty impressed.

Glee - The first time ever I saw your face

Last night was the return of Glee and I loved!

Last nights "proposal" episode was probably one of my favorites ever. I have to admit though, the episode felt a lil tricky. Glee played out with some pop hits to attract the audience and I am not complaining. Haha!

The Glee kids was given an assignment entitled "Marry me" where they had to come up with a proposal performed for Mr. Shue to Emma. The video above is one of my favorite performances last night, simple yet straight to the heart.

Originally performed by Roberta Flack down to a list of popular singers and Leona Lewis as the one of the latest revival.

First #SeaSnow of Winter 2011/2012

The day that everybody has been waiting for finally came. Was it too late? I could care less coz I ♥ Snow!!!

The snow warnings has been in every weather channel for a week now but nothing showed up but on Sunday was the winter wonderland day. Well, at least for me.

I woke up around lunch time yesterday (1.15.11) from a long night story telling and drinking at our place. I thought it was late in the afternoon coz it was pretty bright out not knowing it was snowing really hard. My friend Sean has been staying at our place on Saturdays even if he leaves around the block and it was perfect timing that he was there coz at least we would get to play in the snow together. Haha!

I was pretty excited to walk around the area since it is the first snow fall of the season and its our first experience of snow since we moved away from downtown. When fall came, the pretty hue of colors from the trees was just amazing in our neighborhood and I can just imagine how pretty it would be when it snows. And I was right!

Please excuse the bad resolution of pictures since I only had my phone with me. My trusted iPhone 3gs is not cutting it for me lately since the 4s' camera has an amazing resolution and I've been wanting to do my upgrade.

This was taken from the living room upstairs. My poor car Georgie is all snowed in and on top of that, I haven't even used her in over a month because she needs to go to the car spa.

Our humble home looking so pretty :)

There's an island in our area where a lot of people do their runs, walk their dogs and biking for kids. But this time it was pretty empty because of the snow.

Sean and I decided to go for a walk.
You can barely see it but he is rockin my girlie boots.
HaHa!

My brother took this picture from our living room window and sent it to me saying we look like tourist. I say we look like kids having fun in the snow. ;)

The trees looked pretty everywhere!

This was taken from a small tree/plant at our front yard. It reminded me of a starfish. Haha!

There was a huge park closeby and I was surprised that there was not too many people/kids were there. But we saw a group of kids making a snowman and decided to see a closer look.

Oh kids this days. One kid said it's a "transgendered snowman!" and kept repeating it. At least he knows the proper term right? *sigh*

The sun blasted as we leave the park. It was such a pretty sight.

My favorite rain/snow boots my friend Eye gave me years ago for Christmas.

View from our backyard when we got back from our walk.

Mom and Dad was gonna take their turn walking around the neighborhood when we got back. If you can't tell I'm actually wearing her jacket. HaHa!

Well I hope the snow won't be as crazy anymore. It's almost spring time and this is just crazy that we just had our first snow in Seattle.

Who said I can't cook?

Ok... Ok... I can't really cook - cook. But I try. I've always had my mom watch over my shoulder whenever I try cooking because I tend to put too much spices on it or a lil bit too much of this and that.

My parents was out of town this weekend and my brother ate out so I was left with no choice but to make my own food. I was tired of fried food which is normally my go to meal when I'm making my own food and started craving for this Penne Pasta with Zucchini that our cafeteria at work makes once in awhile. I've had the ingredients since Christmas when I asked my mom to get it for me and thought of making it since I started craving for it.

Let me tell you, it wasn't bad at all. I mean, I didn't know that the Zucchini cooks pretty fast so it was soft when I ate it, the 2 types of cheese I chose which was a goat cheese and Parmesan was a good choice I think and the walnuts was just perfect with it.

One of my New Years resolution is to learn how to cook more and actually cook more this year and hopefully I'm in a good start. I actually made it again the next night and had my brother try it. And what did I tell you, over spicing is my specialty. When I asked his opinion/critic he immediately said, "there's too much peppers!" HaHa!

Who let the Dogs out?

I feel like its been forever since my last blog post. It's been a busy holidays with tons of family and friends time that I don't even know where to start. Plus, our extension cord at home blew up coz we hooked up the portable heater there on top of all the things hooked there for our computer that's why I haven't been able to make an entry but let me start the year with this really cute entry about dogs. haha!

Charlie overload. So cute!
Growing up, we've always had dogs in our household. I might miss some of them but as far as I remember we had Doogie (i think he was named after the show Dougie Hauser M.D. by Neil Patrick Harris. lol), we had Blackie (typical Filipino dog name just because he was black), Bentley (we found him at dad's work site named Bentley Park) and Brownie (again, just because the color was mainly brown. Probably one of my favorites! Brownie was really furry and almost like a Lion that we would call her Simba or Nala from the Lion King).

I've been telling my mom if we can get a dog, but then I think she learned her lesson not to anymore. My siblings and I would always want to adopt a dog but then my mom would end up taking care of them. It's very different in the Philippines back then, dogs barely makes it inside the house and since we lived in the second floor of a complex we would need to go downstairs in our garage to play or pet them and of course feed them. Nobody would want to take their turn feeding the dogs and give them a bath and my mom would always end up doing it. Don't get me wrong, we all loved those dogs but we were to young to know the "responsibility" of having a dog.

Christmas 2011, we decided to host our mom's side of the family since we just started renting a house on August that would fit everybody, well, almost! My cousin brought along her dog Charlie (pictured) and my Aunt brought their dog Sherry (Shiba Inu, not in picture) which I never had a chance to take a picture of coz she was a lil feisty plus she was mostly locked in at my brothers room together with my cousin McCoy coz she kept fighting Charlie. Haha! It was so much fun having dogs in the house again. Those dogs added joy through the holidays and it felt like we were back home in the Philippines celebrating Christmas on top of having everybody in our house.

I can still feel/smell the dogs around the house. I recently discovered that I am allergic to pet fur/hair, I think. And whenever I get home and as soon as I open the door, I would start coughing and sneezing but its manageable. But I would love to have them over again. I have to admit, I kinda miss the barks and running around, most especially Charlie who would go to the door whenever we arrive home and run around up and down the stairs and at one time ate my dinner. LOL!
