API Legends Photoshoot

Couple of weeks ago, I got an email from the Asian Pacific Islander (API) Council asking if I can participate in a photoshoot together with the fiercest legends of API. I immediately checked out my schedule which worked out just fine.

I haven't seen this girls in the same room in couple of years since I haven't been really active with he LGBT pageant scene. I used to attend ton of functions but later on I concentrated more on volleyball.

I'm glad I was able to do this. It was so much fun to he with the girls again. A lil bit of reminiscing and laughs. Tons of make up, wigs, dresses and fabulousness and we are good to go to be on set.

Here are some backstage pass pictures. I won't be able to post pics from the set yet, at least not until the official ad comes out. And I'll for sure make another post when it cones out. I'm so excited!

Here's a teaser of the inspiration of the while set and feel of the photoshoot.



We did two concepts copying from the covers of Vogue Magazine.

Both concepts was FIERCE. But I think everybody's favorite was the black outfit concept including my personal choice.

Thanks to JJcariaso.com who took the photos together with his classmates who helped out with the shoot.

Special thanks to Gaysha Starr for letting me borrow some dresses and even took time on dropping it off at my place. And to the whole API Council for putting this together and allowing me to be a part of the API Legends.

And thanks to the ladies that participated. Y'all are FIERCE and brought the GLAM on set!

In need of ME time

Once in awhile I come to a phase that I just wanna be alone, a day that i can be evaluate, a time to be away from my normal routine, a time for me.

I know a lot of people probably does this and mine is no different. I love my family and friends so much that sometimes I just forget about myself. As much as I can, I want to be around friends, they keep me sane, ok probably sometimes insane. I love the smiles, the laughs ad just plain hanging out time. Talking stories for hours and mostly just reminiscing some days.

I spend so much time with friends that sometimes I forget that I can only do so much. If only I can cut my body into pieces so I can make sure I spend quality time with everybody. I am no superhero and cannot be. ButIf there's a superhero for friends I wanna be one. Haha!

I spend my me time in different ways. It can be a day of pampering in a salon getting my hair done and get my mani and pedi. Be girly! It can be going out of town just to see friends that I can barely hang out with because of distance (yes I know that can't be me time, but in a weird way it counts for me). I can take a walk in a park by myself or in the waterfront and find my own space. And my all time favorite, just locking myself in my room, staying in bed and watch DVDs all day and ignore all phone calls and text messages or I at least try to.

Nothing bad is going in my life really. As I lay down tonight, tossing and turning, it just came to my mind that I need a me time. Make myself miss my friends for a day and come back and give them big hugs and do everything all over again.

Cazwell "Ice Cream Truck"

Its Blowing up the Internet including facebook and YouTube, a music video called "Ice Cream Truck" by Cazwell... I have to admit, I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics of the song coz i was easily distracted by the visuals. But damn these boys are HOT HOT HOT!

Freaky Sunday

I went to Mercer Island park to meet up with d Vball folks for some outdoors Vball and all of a sudden we all noticed how freakingly yellow/orange the sun was and this was around 5pm.




As I got home I looked up the news and maybe there's an explanation to it and d this link ...
